Hillcrest self contained cottage offers peaceful and romantic luxury accommodation set in a private (fenced) garden away from the main house Bed &
Breakfast with spectacular views to mountains and rainforest in every direction.
 Although self catering, cottage guests enjoy use
of our 12 metre solar heated, salt-water swimming pool ~ which is only a few steps away ~ as we accommodate a maximum of 1 couple in the cottage and only 2 couples in the
main house you can be assured of peace and quiet as well as plenty of room in the pool
~ in fact it's unlikely that you will ever see another person during your entire
stay at Hillcrest.
Hillcrest is located in beautiful Crystal Creek, just 10 minutes drive from Murwillumbah in the stunning Tweed region on the Far North Coast of NSW and is centrally located to 5 World
Heritage Listed National Parks, golf, horse-riding, joy-flights, markets, galleries and more. We have a range of tourist information on-site and will gladly help you plan the best things to see and
do during your stay if you wish.

Self catering enthusiasts will love the fully functional kitchen with a full size gas stove, fridge and microwave oven, as well as Gas BBQ on your private verandah so you can enjoy the
traditional Aussie BBQ whilst taking in the spectacular views to Springbrook and the Cougal Mountains.
You can choose to fully self cater, or take our breakfast basket option which includes: your choice of juice, selection of cereals, pancake mix, fresh fruit, waffles,
maple syrup, yoghurt, a loaf of
home-baked bread (gluten free by request), our own free range eggs, bacon,
sausages, mushroom, tomatoes, smoked salmon, selection of home-made preserves, butter, milk, local honey, selection of teas and fresh coffee. For longer stays we can vary selections with such items as spiced plums with croissants ~ or you name your preference and we'll do our best to
oblige.

 The comfortable lounge, with high raked ceilings, split system reverse cycle air-conditioning plus ceiling fans for summer comfort and a wood burning fire
for winter romance, is completely separate from the queen size bedroom and large ensuite bathroom.
Double glass sliding doors open from the lounge to your private verandah where you will find comfortable sun lounges and a gas BBQ.
With wide screen television, dvd player and stereo system including CD player, the cottage is your self catering holiday home away from home. We provide a selection of DVDs and CDs for
your enjoyment. You'll also find a selection of books, games as well as lots of information on things to see and do in during your stay in the in the beautiful Tweed area. In addition both of the
video libraries in Murwillumbah will provide temporary membership to Hillcrest Cottage guests.

 Hillcrest Self Contained Cottage is tastefully decorated in a modern Australian contemporary style with the emphasis on comfort.
Guests enjoy a Queen Size bedroom with double glass sliding doors looking directly at Mt Warning. The bedroom is completely separate from the lounge and has a large ensuite
bathroom.
Two built-in wardrobes provide plenty of hanging space ~ robes and plenty of hangers too ~ whilst ceiling fans and air-conditioned lounge ensure summer comfort.
 The wood fire heats the
whole cottage splendidly in Winter, but we provide an electric blanket for the bed during the cooler months for extra cosiness. If you don't want to light the fire, the reverse cycle air-conditioning
provides heating at the push of a button.
Your large ensuite bathroom comes complete with top of the range, luxury double spa bath and separate oversize shower, bath sheets, pool towels, hairdryer, selection of toiletries,
heater, extractor fan and stunning views to Mt Warning ~ the photo on the right was taken through the bathroom window.
