Hillcrest caters for a maximum of only three couples ~ one couple in our fully self contained spa cottage with real wood fire and set in its own secluded rain-forest garden; and a further two couples in two B&B Suites located in a private guest wing of the main house, where the guest lounge has an open fireplace. If you've never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, then think of Hillcrest main house as a small, private hotel that caters for only two couples and you'll have a good idea of what we have to offer for your Easter break.

Centrally located to a host of beauty spots and activities, Hillcrest is just 35 minutes drive south of Gold Coast airport, 75 minutes south of Brisbane, 45 minutes north of Byron Bay and 12 minutes form the centre of Murwillumbah.

Hillcrest is centrally located to five world heritage listed National Parks, including Mt Warning, the eroded central plug of the world's largest extinct shield volcano, and a range of activities for you to enjoy during your stay. Décor is elegant and simple, with original etchings and limited edition prints rather than lace and frills. The ensuite has a full size bath and separate shower.

Bath sheets, bath-robes, pool towels, a selection of toiletries, bubble bath, candles and a hair-dryer are provided for your convenience. A hammock, table & chairs are provided on the verandah right outside your room.

Please be aware that there are no self catering facilities for this room. Evening port and our full country style breakfast (including home-made bread and our own free range eggs) are included in the tariff. However, unless you order a candle-lit dinner from us you will need to take other meals off-site. We're only a 12 minute drive from the centre of Murwillumbah with its range of restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs ~ there's a booklet in the guest lounge with our recommendations.

Double glass sliding doors open from your room to the Verandah.  Where you'll find a hammock, table and chairs so you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon tea whilst looking out across rolling green hills to Mt Warning in the distance.

Fully equipped kitchen, its own gas bbq on the verandah, air-conditioned lounge with real wood fire is completely separate from the QS bedroom and large ensuite bathroom with top of the range luxury double spa bath and separate shower.

Toiletries, hairdryer, robes, candles, all linen, towels and pool towels are provided. Choose standard breakfast provisions option or our full brunch basket.
